Cons:

• Its very shocking to hear that many a times this Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless router, loses its IP connectivity if your workstation is kept ON for a longer time thereby, fails for a solid connection. You may have problems leaving the router permanently on.
• The length of the power cord that is supplied with this WRT54G2 is just half in size as compared to WRT54GS model.
• Working a powerful processor, the router gets heated up at room temperature and has to be turned off once in a while (about 30 minutes, every 24 hours). It is not possible to leave the router on permanently. If you use torrents a lot, you might want to attach a fan to the router.
• If you have a modest internet connection, this router may clog if you connect more than 4 devices at the same time.
